Hi, I’m Shana Williamson — a colored pencil artist based in North Carolina with a passion for creating hyper-realistic artwork that tells a story. From detailed pet portraits to award-winning originals, my work celebrates the beauty in everyday moments and the incredible depth that colored pencils can achieve.

I’m also the founder of Williamson Art Academy, where I teach aspiring artists how to master colored pencil techniques through structured, approachable courses. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up, the Academy is designed to meet you where you are.

When I’m not drawing or teaching, you can find me co-hosting the podcast Beyond the Pigment and Paper, where my friend Abs and I have real conversations about the creative journey — the wins, the struggles, and everything in between.
